Chloe Sample Sales in New York et Paris
While the Chloe sample sale is not till next month in NYC (last year the Richemont Friends and Family private sale was April 15 – April 16), if you happen to be in Paris next week, you can get See By Chloe deals at the NGR sample sale.
Knowns as ventes privees in French, similar rules apply to these sample sales: 1) usually no designated fitting room; 2) often a mandatory bag check; and 3) sometimes further price reductions on the last day. Although the invitation often states “invite only” remember to just walk in like you’re on the list, and if there are any problems – you don’t (or pretend you don’t) speak French : )
I was in Paris for my birthday last year and bought some great pieces at the Antik Batik sample sale. I also ran into Karl Lagerfeld at Colette - but that’s another post!

JetShopper Tip: L’Espace NGR is located in the 16eme arrondissement (16th district) and not too far from the Eiffel Tower. To get to the Eiffel Tower, you can either take a quick taxi, or the RER from Boulainvilliers two stops to Champ de Mars.

I love Chloé (even without Phoebe Philo), so this is very, very tempting (when it gets to NY since, alas, I have no trips to Paris planned in the near future). Thanks for the heads up! I’ll be on the lookout.
