Chanel Mademoiselle: Fall 2011 Price & Color Updates

Blake Lively Chanel Mademoiselle Spring 2011

After a few comments from Chanel-loving JetShoppers asking for updates on Mademoiselle pricing (and in honor of my recent encounter with Karl Lagerfeld) I figured I’d finally get around to doing a Currency Converter post.

One of the biggest seasonal launches in years, the Chanel Mademoiselle bag will be updated for the fall with different colors introduced for Fall Act 1 in July/August. The largest size will include a leather/chain strap, but will most likely not be available in the U.S.

The Mademoiselle (Style #A49852) currently comes in some amazing exotics that will not be issued this fall including Iguana, Alligator (only the x-large size will be issued this Fall) and Galuchat.

Both Iguana and Galuchat only come in the small size (my favorite next to the mini which will also not be available come Fall) and cost $6,000 or €4,200. While just a few months ago you would have saved $$ by purchasing the bag in Europe, with the weakening U.S. dollar, you’re better off purchasing in the U.S. now. Try the Currency Converter to the right to see if the conversion has changed from today’s rate of $6,120.

The new Fall patent calfskin bags will be available delicious colors including plumb, green, black, grey and turquoise. The grain calfskin will come in the same colors as well as classic light beige.

Bon shopping!
