One of the first things you’ll notice in the shopping districts of Hong Kong, is the plethora of tiny shops packed with a heavenly assortment of Birkins, 2.55′s and Speedy’s stacked practically on top of each other. Known as “stations” these shops carry the impeccably kept, discarded luxury bags of Hong Kong’s “tai tais” aka housewives.

Tonight I strolled past the Empire Hotel and stopped to take a glimpse of Gossip Girl’s Ivy aka Charlie standing outside on her cell phone. Before I could pass as an extra, a crew member asked me to move to the other side of the street. Here’s what it sounds like to get the boot!
I’ve just returned from a shopping-filled trip to Hong Kong and am overwhelmed with the variety of new stores I discovered! HK is one of the best places to experience the city’s culture by shopping, so I’ll be sharing my shopping tips with you shortly.
